Other effects pedals are made for electric guitars. They are specificaly designed to modify and change the tone and sound of an electric guitar. That's why most pedals produce poor results with an acoustic instument. Their primary goal is to change the sound of the guitar, even if it changed the natural tone of the instrument.
But as an acoustic guitar player that's not what I wanted. I wanted pedals that kept the sound of my guitar but added the desired effect. I wanted to keep my tone even when using the desired effect. So I started designing and building my own pedals.
My pedals use circuits adapted from high end audiophile grade circuits to acheive the cleanest most natural sound possible. To make these circuits work properly only the best electronic components are used. Even the most basic compents such as capacitors and op amps need to be upgraded to meet audiophile grade sound quality. Of course these upgraded components cost more than standard components (sometimes as much as 100 times more!) so they would never be used by the big manufacturers.
If you're looking for a pedal that does not color or modify the tone of your guitar then give one of my pedals a try.
